I've been here numerous times, and so far I love all the food I've ordered. They bring out the food fast, so I'm hangry (hungry n angry), I tend to come here. The portion is perfect as well.
Driving on Foothill Blvd, Pho Viet Restaurant is easy to miss, as it's not visible from the road. To find it, I usually look for the Sharaton Hotel in the same shopping center. An elderly woman, with a smile from ear to ear, suggested we try the lemon grass beef spring rolls since they were out of the nem spring rolls. They came with two different kinds of dipping sauce, peanut dipping sauce and Nuoc cham (fish sauce dipping sauce). Good recommendations indeed.. My friend and I both had the pho dac biet beef soup #33. Slurping the hot broth was just what we needed to keep us warm on this late-night chill.
4++ great little neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant that feels family owned and operated. The people were kind and the menu is pretty extensive. They specialize in pho, but there were a lot of other items on the menu that you could order as well. I came in for lunch during the weekend and was able to get a seat right away. I ordered a bowl of pho and the portions were pretty generous. I also got a Vietnamese coffee to wash it down. I thought the pho here was really good and definitely left feeling really full. Would love to come back and try some of their other items on the menu.
Really solid pho spot! The chicken pho had such a clean, flavorful broth, and the noodles were just the right texture. The place is small but cozy--get there early to grab a seat.
This place has been in Rancho for awhile and I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more hype. It's a mom and pop type of establishment that serves more than just the typical pho and rice dishes. They serve Vietnamese hot pot as well as a ton of specials that they posted all over the store. Portion sizes are good and prices are generally affordable. The four choices are comparable to those you would get in little Saigon. They just need to tidy up the place a little bit but food is always good. If you like Vietnamese food try this place out
I gave this place a chance because I was staying at the hotel next door and didn't feel like driving anywhere. I'm soooo glad I did! The wait staff are very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I like that each table has hand sanitizer and wipes on them for guests to use. They have a big selection of dishes. Tonight I got the shrimp and garlic rice plate. I asked if the shrimp came with shells, which it did. I asked if it could be substituted with other shrimp where I didn't have to deal with unshelling the shrimp. They happily accommodated. The food was very tasty and fresh. Give them a try!
